Anachronisms


I witnessed some magical anachronisms yesterday. My saucer magnolia burst out in gorgeous lavender blooms and lightening bugs glowed all over the hypergreen-seen-only-after-a-season-of-drought grass. Although the season for all things with leaves and wings to accept death or dormancy approaches, my biospheremates have boldly resisted this natural cycle. I am bolstered by their example to embrace the nonsequential progression of my life. Finding myself a college student again instead of a nondescript drone halfway to retirement among the masses, I feel freer to do something out of the ordinary - magical. Let's see what develops...

First Time

While sitting on my kick-ass Texas-sized back porch, sipping half-caf coffee and, waging war on the destroyer of backyard bliss (read "mosquitos"), I begin my journey into the Great eConversation. My contribution to this conversation will most assuredly be erratic because I am interested in every topic and every person in this universe. Mainly though, I expect topics to revolve around those issues nearest to my heart at any given moment. In addition, I will explore random findings of the day. Furthermore, I expect to muse on thoughts that get stuck in my brain for reasons unknown. Not withstanding my perchance for organization, I anticipate the progression of dialogue to be somewhat convoluted and am enchanted by the paradox of an organic digital exchange of ideas...
So, a toast to my first foray in blogging, "May the power of my laptop battery always match the stamina of my mind!"
